So, along comes number three. Being highly conversant in "window speak" by this point I was not only armed with a barrage of questions about the glass, the frames and the sills but also hardened to the persuasive sales pitch I was expecting to have to sit through. To my surprise when Capital Windows arrived I couldn't have been more wrong. He had a look round the house and put across all the options I had available to me in a simple, no-nonsense way. What really made it though was when he invited to take a look around the factory and showroom so he could go through the process with me and show me what fitted examples actually looked like. Therefore, the following Saturday I popped by and had a guided tour of the factory and unbeknown to me at the time even met the guys that would be making my windows!

I could see that the people in the factory were taking a real pride in their work and this coupled with Capital Window's 10 year guarantee really instilled the confidence which led me to place my order. I mean, why not? - their prices were competitive, the rep had been so knowledgeable and helpful even when I kept ringing him to ask him silly questions and above alI I knew that I wasn't just a contribution to some rep's commission - they really gave serious thought to what would suit my house best. The best was yet to come though - after only waiting a few weeks it was D Day, or W Day I suppose. Along came the fitters in the morning and when I arrived home in the evening half the job was finished -by the next day they had completed the fittings with the minimum of fuss and bother, even though they had to complete building work for my new back door. Goodness knows how they managed to complete the job with very little damage, I was expecting to have to redecorate but not even that.
